Edward Chen, Head of Accounts and GST of CPA-Partnership since 2013 is an experienced tax and accounting professional.  He has diverse experience spanning more than 15 years in major fields that include taxation, auditing and transaction advisory services. Over a period of 15 years working with PKF Group, Edward has gained wide experience in assignments of a consulting nature besides assurance work such as statutory and internal audits; tax compliance and advisory services, due diligence (in mergers and acquisitions) and related works. In the past, he was engaged an Acting CFO role in a non-profit organization - Foundation of Rotary Clubs (S) Ltd and an Assistant CFO in a tower crane company (MNC) for CPA’s client. He was also a team leader in an internal audit assignment when PKF conducted internal audit of entities in People’s Association in Singapore.

Edward is an Associate member of the Association of International Accountants (AAIA) in United Kingdom. He was also a member in Taxpayer Feedback Panel – Mandarin Dialogue, being appointed by the Comptroller of Income Tax, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) for a term of 2 years from September 2010 to August 2012.

Edward oversees the accounting and tax assignments for our clients in the firm. This includes reviewing our client’s management accounts on monthly basis, producing Company’s financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST, payroll and related taxes for all levels of employees and employers.
